This past weekend I had the wonderful experience of making music with swell-feller extraordinaire Abel Mouton, who was visiting from San Francisco, as well as Dave and Kyleen of Olympia's finest, feedBackarach. Abel arrived Thursday afternoon and we already had our first song partially recorded by that evening. We finished up the recording for that one (titled Clear Channel) on Friday and moved on to the next tune (I Know You) late Friday night. We finished up the basic tracks on Saturday and by 5 or so the feedBackarach folk arrived and brought with them the ghost of rock future. We had the improvised spazz-jam of century with Abel on Guitar, Kyleen-bass, Dave- drums and me on my trusty casio. It was more fun than I can adequately describe, given the limitations of earthly lingo.
I've been making some new art-like material lately. Collage has been keeping me up late. I also did an ink-wash piece and some watercolor and ink things too. You can see some imagery here.
I just started a Flickr account and posted a bunch of the images from this site on there. You can take a peek here, if inclined you so be.
I think Mary and I are finally going to get our eco-clock pants on. I've been researching new and better materials to make our timepieces from and will be acquiring said materials as early as the day after today. I'm excited about it. I'll be able to make a clock that is free of bad stuff. Au natural clockage is on it's way, timekeepers of the world. Rejoice!
